About The Event
How do childhood wounds shape your ability to thrive and create the life you truly want?
Breaking Free from the Parent Wound: Tools for Resilience and Reclaiming Your Future is a powerful workshop that explores how unresolved childhood wounds can keep you stuck in patterns of self-doubt, fear, and limiting beliefs. These patterns often block your ability to move forward, take risks, and fully embrace your potential.
Guided by trauma and relationship expert Michele Paradise, this transformative session dives into practical tools to help you build emotional resilience, overcome inherited narratives, and step into a life shaped by your own choices—not your past. Drawing on Dr. Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry approach, Michele offers guided exercises and deep insights in a safe and supportive space.
This workshop is perfect for anyone seeking to release the hold of their past, reclaim their power, and create a thriving, fulfilling future.
About The Series
Healing the Parent Wound: A Journey to Wholeness is a three-part series that empowers you to understand and heal the emotional impact of their early experiences. Each workshop builds upon the last, providing a comprehensive pathway to growth and transformation.
Workshop 1: Explores how childhood environments shape personality, core beliefs, and behaviors.
Workshop 2: Focuses on how these early wounds influence adult relationships, delving into attachment styles and patterns.
Workshop 3: Provides actionable tools for resilience, self-compassion, and personal empowerment.
Led by trauma and relationship expert Michele Paradise, this series creates a safe, supportive space for profound self-discovery and healing. Each session draws on the work of Dr. Gabor Maté and offers practical exercises to equip participants with insights and strategies for lasting change.
What is the Parent Wound?
The "parent wound" is the emotional pain that can form in the relationship between a parent and child. It doesn’t mean parents are bad people; it often comes from the fact that parents bring their own life experiences and unprocessed traumas into parenting. This can make it hard for them to fully support their child emotionally, even if they love them deeply. As a result, children may grow up feeling like they’re not good enough or that they need to please others to feel loved.
